GROVE HIGH SCHOOL TOWER BUILDING

The Grove Tower building, sitting
atop Grove Hill and overlooking Paris and Henry County. Used as Grove High School
from 1906 to 1968, the building is now part of , and used by, the local school system. The
Grove Building Tower is considered
to be the highest point in West Tennessee. It is said rain that falls on the east side of
the roof drains to the Tennessee River and rain
falling on the west side of the roof drains to the Mississippi River. Grove High has a
whole bevy of firsts in her credits. Her
greatest credits may be many of the folks that passed through her doors.
