GROVE HIGH SCHOOL |
Grove Alumni Association |
| The Alumni Association of Grove On May 1, 1921, a constitution for the Grove Alumni Association was adopted by the graduates of this school. It is the purpose of this association to aid and stand by the school which in past yeare has meant so much to each one. In. this constitution an annual celebration was provided, thus the ex-students of Grove may meet each year in their old class room and chat with their dearly loved classmates, bringing back many sweet memories of some forgotten school days. Since the year of 1906, when the first diplomas were given from Grove School, the number of graduates has increased until at the adoption of the constitution the number who are eligible to become members of this association has exceeded two hundred seventy-five. Can you imagine the gratitude and love which these two hundred seventy-five former students of Grove have for Dr. E. W. Grove, who so wonderfully endowed our dearly loved school? How often these graduates long to be again in the rooms and halls of their Alma Mater! How many times they have thought of the happy days they spent in this dear school with their beloved friends and teachers. And always, deep down in their hearts they feel that still they are a part of old Grove and their interest will forever be with her. |
