Class of 1960 ~ 50th Reunion Planning

Planning Meeting held Tuesday, September 22, 2009

A committee of ten local alumni decided on Labor Day weekend (2010) as the time for our 50th Class Reunion.

It will begin with an informal get-together from 6-10 p.m. Friday
Sept. 3, 2010, at the home of Dan and Jane Murphey.

For those who golf, we're hoping to schedule a golf outing for Sat.
Sept. 4.

The reunion will then be held from 6-11 p..m. Sat. Sept. 5 at the
Greystone.... (waiting on availability confirmation)

More details to follow ... but we urge ALL members of our class to
attend... ESPECIALLY those who have never been to one of our
reunions ... or at least haven't been to a recent one ... our last
was in 2000.

We also need to update addresses and add or update email addresses
for ALL class members.

Cost and other details will be available in the next few months ...

An organizational meeting to plan for the 50th anniversary reunion of
the Grove High School Class of 1960 is planned for 6 p.m. September 22 at
Tom's Pizza and Steak House, 2501 E. Wood St., in Paris.

All class members and other "locals" who are interested in helping
plan for the reunion are invited to the Dutch treat meal and meeting.

Out-of-town members should check the Grove website often for updates
as well as e-mail addresses to obtain more information and to also be
part of the planning process..

Plans proceeding for our 50th reunion Labor Day weekend ... a (very) few of us want to play a round of golf at Paris Landing Saturday ... Need a few more ... any classmates (or spouses) who would like to play that day (tee-off appx. 10-10:30 a.m.) should contact me at photos@parispi.net ASAP ...
