COTTAGE  GROVE ~ DELNO ~ HENRY ~ EARLY   HENRY  COUNTY  SCHOOLS

This photograph of Cottage Grove School was taken in 1943, according to the label on the back. It, too, was a high school until 1969 when HCHS opened and remained a K-8 school until Harrelson School was built. It is now the location of the private Cottage Grove School.

Lined up for a cool drink at their new “modern” drinking fountain, these Delno School students were pleased they no longer had to hold a dipper (or their mouths) underneath the spigot of the school’s pump.

This photograph of  Henry School was taken in August 1984, according to the information on its back. This building was located near the present Henry School.
