| Former Paris resident William
“Bill” Earl Wilson, 74, of London, Kentucky, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012,
at Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky. His wife, Sandra Lee Napier Wilson, survives. Locally, he leaves a son: Michael Elliott (Cheryl) Wilson; a brother: Guy Nories Wilson; and one sister: Henrietta Clemonteen McClure, all of Paris. His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bowling Funeral Home in London. Burial will follow in A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today. Wilson graduated from E.W. Grove High School in 1956 and joined the U.S. Air Force. He retired after 20 years service as a meteorologist and computer specialist. He was a member of First Baptist Church in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. He also leaves one daughter: Teresa Marie Pleasants of Lexington; three other sons: Bradley William (Whitney) Wilson of Lexington and Christopher David Black and Joseph Michael (Sherry) Black, both of London; and seven grandchildren: Cody, Boah and Jaelyn Black, all of London, and Ryan, Cole and Carmen Pleasants and Chase Wilson, all of Lexington. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister: Lorene Sue Farris; and two brothers: Hubert Fred Wilson and Wilburn Benson Wilson.
