Margie Lou Bucy Rieben ~ Obituary

The funeral service for Paris resident Margie Lou Rieben will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday.

Rieben, 87, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Paris Healthcare Center.

She was married on December 12, 1942, to John Louis Rieben Jr., who survives.

A daughter of the late Elvis and Ruby Chilcutt Bucy, she was born Nov. 2, 1923, in Paris.

She was a member of a non-denominational church.

In addition to her husband, she leaves one daughter: Joyce (Oliver) Waters of Commerce, Georgia.; two sons: Thomas Rieben of Buchanan and Johnny (Jewell) Rieben of Eads; one sister: Brenda (Nick) Parker of Lubbock, Texas; one brother: John (Merlyn) Bucy of Brady, Texas; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son: David Michael Rieben; and a brother: Ralph Bucy.
