Reeves Redmon, 81, of Dickson died Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at National
Healthcare in Dickson. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Rob Martin, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Paris, where Redmon was a member, will officiate. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Bob and Daniel Rial, Vince and Paul Emerson, Dale Bell and Bob Stutzman. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Thursday. Born Sept. 29, 1929, in Paris, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Blanton Reeves. A 1947 Grove High School graduate, she held a degree from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Miss. She was formerly employed at Commercial Bank & Trust Co. in Paris and Fry Drug Store, formerly of Paris. She also was a homemaker. Survivors are two daughters: Joan Redmon (Bob) Rial of Dickson and Kay Redmon (Vince) Emerson of Lexington; and five grandchildren: Kelsey Lou Emerson, Hannah Margaret Emerson, Paul Redmon Emerson, Daniel Thomas Rial and Rebecca Jo Rial.
