OBITUARY

 

Ras Bennett Bilbrey Jr., 71, of  Aden Street in Paris was dead on arrival Friday, November 1, 2002, at Henry County Medical Center.

The body was to be cremated.

A memorial service is planned at 1:00 p.m.Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Gary Collier is to officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation is set after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday

Born April 23, 1931, in Henry County, he was a son of Ras Bennett Bilbrey Sr., and Edna Gertrude Byars Bilbrey, both deceased.

Bilbrey retired as a claims adjuster for State Farm Insurance. He was a Navy veteran and he attended Murray State University.

He leaves two daughters; Dinny Walker and Evelyn Davis, both of Louisville, Kentucky;
One son; Ben Bilbrey of Louisville: one stepdaughter: Ursula Fritsch of Norfolk, Virginia;
One brother Harold Wallace Bilbrey; and four grandchildren: Michael Thongkoksee and Megan, Jessica and Stewart Walker.
