James Larry Pierce, 60, of Franklin died Saturday, April 28, 2007, at Henry County Medical Center after a heart attack.

His body was donated to the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Memorial visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Paris.

He leaves his mother: Virginia M. Pierce of Paris; his brother: David Pierce of Memphis; a nephew: J.D. Pierce of Memphis; and Suzanne Donner of Franklin.

His father George M. Pierce preceded him in death.
