Darrol Edward Pierce, 67, of Springville died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at
Henry County Medical Center. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Ronnie Davidson and Steven Hoots will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Selected as pallbearers are Charlie French, Johnny Brown, Carl Herndon, David Turner, Tommy Davidson and Russell French. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday. Born in Paris on Nov. 24, 1941, he was the son of Solomon Ray Pierce and Leota Culpepper Pierce, now both deceased. Pierce retired from Haldex in 2007 after working for 36 years. He leaves a daughter: Kristin Brooke Pierce of Springville; two sons: Colton Adam Pierce of Paris and Chadwick Allen Pierce of Springville; two cousins: Ronnie and Tommy Davidson; and a special caregiver: Debra (James) Merrell of Springville. |
