| Jimmy Merrell ~ Grove Class
of 1966 Former Mohon International worker James L. Merrell, 60, of Paris died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, at Henry County Medical Center. The body was cremated. A memorial service is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Chester Harrison will officiate. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday. Born Dec. 15, 1946, in Paris, he was a son of James Burmon Merrell and Mary Louise Hudgins Merrell, now both deceased. Merrell was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed for 20 years by Mohon International, formerly of Paris. He leaves one brother: Jerry (Sandra) Merrell of Paris; three aunts: Jean Johnson of Camden, Laurine Glisson of Huntsville, Ala., and Nellie 'Toppy' Amundson of Wentworth, S.D.; four uncles: Johnny Hudgins of Paris, Nathan Merrell of Jasper, Laverne Merrell of Bruceton and Jackie Merrell of Arkansas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
