Jack H. Lamb, 62, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in
Fayetteville. His wife of 40 years, Dorothy Parks Lamb, survives. His funeral was planned at 2 p.m. today at Higgins Funeral Home in Fayetteville with the Rev. Tommy Ward officiating. Burial was to follow in Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. Born in Paris on Oct. 3, 1948, he was the son of the late Patrick and Norene Lamb. A 1966 Grove High School graduate, he earned a degree from Murray State University and received his dentistry degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He opened his first private dental practice in Paris in 1986 and then settled into business in Fayetteville in 1991. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. He also leaves a son: Robert J. (Bonnie) Lamb of Decatur, Ga.; two daughters: Lucye and Allison Lamb, both of Nashville; one sister: Patsy Redmon of Paris; five nieces and nephews: Leigh Bentley, Matthew and Alex Durham, Kristin Brown and Clayton Campbell; and a special friend: Bede Price. Memorials may be made to Fayetteville First United Methodist Church building fund. |
