Paris native Cynthia Lowe Glass, 58, of Memphis died of cancer Friday morning, Jan. 26, 2007, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

The body was to be cremated.

A memorial service is planned at 6 p.m. Friday at High Point Funeral Chapel in Memphis. The Rev. Dr. Jerry Latimer will officiate.

Born July 1, 1948, she was the daughter of Ruth Lowe May of Paris and the late James A. Lowe.

Her husband Frank Glass preceded her in death.

Mrs. Glass was a 1966 graduate of Grove High School. She was director of the Memphis Alcohol and Drug Council.

In addition to her mother, she leaves a daughter: Kim Glass of Memphis; a brother: Ron Lowe of Paris; and a nephew: Ricky Lowe of Waverly.
