| Bobby French Retired carburetor plant worker and Highway Department security guard Robert Warren French, 76, of Paris died Wednesday, Dececember 29, 2010, at his residence. A private family service is planned this weekend at Hillcrest Cemetery. There will be no visitation. McEvoy Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Born May 26, 1934, in Henry County, he was a son of Delmer Jesse French and Mary Lois Hastings French, both deceased. French was a Grove High School graduate. He worked for 32 years at Holley carburetor plant before retiring. He also worked as a security guard for the Henry County Highway Department for 20 years. He was a member of the church of Christ, a 32nd Degree Mason, belonging to Springville Masonic Lodge and a member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge and VFW Post 1889. He leaves a brother: Jesse “Ray” French of Paris. |
