Obituary

Survived by his wife of 37 years, Belinda Morgan Dinwiddie; daughter, Heather Terese Dinwiddie and son, William Michael Dinwiddie, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances Neese Dinwiddie and William Lycurgus Dinwiddie of Paris, TN.

Currently living in Nashville, Mike grew up in Paris, TN and lived in Lebanon, Tennessee for 25 years. He was involved in several U.S. and international businesses, and wrote a weekly newspaper column for several years. He was clever, sarcastic, and witty to the end.

Visitation will be at Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home, Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 4 to 7 p.m. The Memorial Celebration, also at Marshall Donnelly Combs, will be held Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 1 p.m..

Former Paris resident William Michael “Mike” Dinwiddie Sr., 68, of Nashville died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, after a battle with cancer.

The body was to be cremated.

His wife of 37 years, Belinda Morgan Dinwiddie, survives.

A memorial service is planned at 1 p.m. Sunday at Marshall-Donnelly & Combs Funeral Home in Nashville.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Dinwiddie was the son of the late William Lycurgus Dinwiddie and Frances Neese Dinwiddie.

He lived in Lebanon for 25 years before moving to Nashville. He was involved in several U.S. and international businesses and wrote a weekly newspaper column for several years.

He also leaves a son: William Michael Dinwiddie Jr.
