William Dale Chenoweth Sr., 72,
of Paris died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004,
at Henry County Medical Center.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m.
Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral
Home.

Gary S. Collier will officiate.
Burial will be in Memorial Cem-
etery.

Named as pallbearers are Jerry
Bell, Robert "Rookie" Edwards,
Crockett Mathis and Ed Tayloe;
and two of his grandchildren: Derek
Chenoweth of Paris and Clint Che-
noweth of Gleason.

Honorary pallbearers will be
members of the Grove High School
Class of 1950.

Visitation is planned from 4-
8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m.
Wednesday.
Chenoweth was married May 25,
2000, to the former Glendora Taylor
who survives.
His first wife, Maunone Mitchell
Chenoweth, died Nov. 9,1998.
Born in Murray on Aug. 22, 1932,
he was son of the late Jack H. and
Irene Dale Chenoweth.

He was a 1950 graduate of Grove
High School, where he played tackle
on the football team for Coach Rob-
ert Jelks.

He retired in May 1991 as a
chemical operator from Air Prod-
ucts and Chemical Inc. in Calvert
City, Ky.

A family member said he was an
avid fisherman.

He leaves a daughter; Teresa Rat-
kowski of PIainview, N.Y.; one son
David Mitchell (Christina) Che-
noweth of Paris; a stepson: Ricky
(Donna) Crowder of Paris;
Two other grandchildren: Chad
Chenoweth of Gleason and Ryan
Ratkowski of PIainview; and a step-
granddaughter: Mady Beck of Paris.
