| Paris native and Flextronics expeditor
Larry G. Brockwell, 64, of Louisville, Ky., died Tuesday, May 11,
2010, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. His wife, Andrea B. Brockwell, survives. They were married on Dec. 27, 1966. Local survivors are a sister, Margaret (Harold) Jackson; and a niece: Stephanie (Keith) Gallimore, both of Paris. His funeral was at noon Saturday at Heady-Cralle Funeral Home in Louisville, with the Rev. Matt McQueen officiating. Burial followed in Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville. Pallbearers were Harold Jackson, Curtis Jackson, Keith Gallimore, Mike Borders, Jim Nelson and Bernie Backert. Born Dec. 27, 1945, in Paris, he was the son of the late Wayne and Alice Brockwell. A 1963 graduate of Grove High School, Brockwell worked for Flextronics in Louisville. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Louisville and a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam era. He also leaves two daughters: Monica (Dean) Culver of Brighton, Colo., and Melissa Brockwell of Bowling Green, Ky.; one grandchild: Taylor Culver; one nephew: Hal Jackson of Nashville; and a great-nephew: Curtis (Sue) Jackson of Nashville.
