| Henry County native Polly Adams,
80, of Water Valley, Kentucky, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at her
residence. The body was to be cremated. A memorial service is scheduled at 1 p.m. Sunday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, Kentucky, with the Rev. Henry Callison officiating. Visitation will begin an hour before the service. Born Oct. 18, 1930, in Henry County, she was a daughter of the late Ben and Queenie Hoffman Comer. Her husband, John Adams, preceded her in death. Adams was a production worker for the former Hubble Lighting Co. in Martin. She was a member of South Fulton Baptist Church. She leaves a daughter: Pat (Chris) Clark of Water Valley; and one aunt: Wilda Dillahunty of Macon, Ga. She also was preceded in death by two sisters: Marjorie Edwards and Mildred Smith; and a brother: Brent Comer. |
