Read in a letter, 1969, 1st period history class, that Mrs. Hopkins dress fell off while she was at the blackboard.
Anyone remember this? Not a good mental picture, though funny.

I have been cleaning out boxes from my mother's attic and came across letters that I had received while serving in the
Marine Corps. While reading these letters they brought back fond memories of my wonderful friends at Grove. I have
thought of these folks all day and wondering what they are doing now? They all kept me posted on what was going
on at Grove and Paris. Thanks again for the memories of Grove and what wonderful times we had. I hope all Grove
classes keep a place in their heart for the Grove Veterans that gave the ultimate sacrifice. God bless to all.

I am a relative of Alice Gertrude Matthewson Grove and delighted to get information provided on this
website. Thank you. My grandfather was Nathaniel Currier Matthewson, either a brother to Alice
Gertrude or a nephew. It was he that invented the formula for Grove's Pazo for piles. He was a pharmacist
among other professions.
